About Ruedi

With a profound belief that agility is more than just a tool, but a cultural form, Rudolf Gysi is passionate about guiding individuals, teams, and
organizations towards a meaningful, value-driven, and successful work environment.

His journey commenced as a developer, where he experienced the joy of customers enthusiastically embracing a new product – his first Scrum product. This sparked his interest in exploring how to build better products, leading to an extensive period as an IT Quality Manager, deeply engaged in the realm of software quality.

A pivotal milestone in his career was guiding the IT department of the Swiss Federal Railways in transitioning to agile practices. This success motivated Rudolf to assist other organizations in their transformation towards more valuable workspaces and products that captivate customers.

Since 2018, he has been working as a coach, trainer, and facilitator in various consulting firms, earning a reputation as a longstanding pioneer in the agile movement. Rudolf is an experienced Flight Level Coach, accompanying companies from startups to traditional firms or multinational corporations. He serves as a sparring partner and advisor for decision-makers in digital and agile transformations, a trainer and mentor for leaders in agile roles, and a guest lecturer at FHNW in the field of change processes.

Rudolf's portfolio includes talent scouting, guiding hardware Scrum projects, establishing internal Agile communities, and developing new thinking models and frameworks like Iteration Zero, offering solutions to complex problems. He is a guest lecturer at FHNW for CAS Change Processes in Organizations and holds an impressive array of certifications, including Enterprise Coach of the Scrum Alliance, Certified Team Coach, Kanban Trainer of the Kanban University, Kanban Enterprise Coach, Flight Level Coach, Scrum Certified Professional, Lego Serious Play Facilitator, CAS Team Dynamics under Change, and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Organizational Dynamics from FHNW.
