About Markus

Markus Schmotz is an empathetic industry leader and systems thinker. He is deeply fascinated by the interplay between individuals and the systems surrounding them. Over the past 15 years he worked in various leadership roles and organizational setups across the value chain. He introduced Agile ways of working in teams, led a global Lean & Leadership transformation of 30 production sites and was the driving force of culture change initiative in a corporation.

Markus sits in the sweet-spot between Agile, Lean and Leadership. He works both closely with team members in the system, as well as with leadership on the system - across the boundaries of methodologies and frameworks. Depending on circumstance you will see Markus as trainer and coach, project leader and manager, or active problem solver and Kaizen leader.
